supposing if there will be a tsunami ,(i personaly dont think so) how would you think it will affect cse.......your views......

Wasn't there any announcement from the government saying that this is just a rumor?

the poster did not ask is there a tsunami or not. anyway as you know sri lanka had great floods and rain in the north, east, central and hill country recently which destroyed most of the crops. this did not have any effect on the stock market. it even went up those days.
so in a tsunami situation there i suspect it could have a 2% like dip on the first day because of the shock and then stagnate a bit like in december. actually nothing different from the everyday situation. who knows stock market could go even up speculating on foreign aid. you know more toursim, more construction. what i see is cse has no relation to sri lanka.
and the most important thing is you should buy shares of the hotels with only the foundation remaining after the tsunami. later you can sell them at a huge profit.
