ACL should report great report for the Dec quarter. They have not taken in to account the HPWR repurchase profit for the Sep Q reports. The best defensive stock in the mkt now.

This will be a 2016 star performer.

ACL Cables is the pioneering cable manufacturing company in Sri Lanka and the ACL group is the largest in the Sri Lankan cable industry. ACL has added switch and sockets too to its product portfolio.

The group is expected to post over a billion rupee profit with a forecasted EPS of Rs18.1. At CMP it is trading at a forward PE of 6.8. The company's future ROE is expected to be 12% while its ROME is as high as 15%. This indicates the fact that earnings capacity has not properly reflects I  the current share price.

With the recent interest of heavy institutional investors coupled with announced share split the share should move to a much higher prices. Based on ROE & ROME the share could value at over Rs150 in very short term and in the longer term it has the intrinsic value even to reach Rs200/-.

So it is recommended to buy and hold under current price levels.

@kassachandimal, I expect this to be traded around 70/72 range after subdivision. Further depending on the degree of market sentiment this target can be further lifted vise versa,

@hanuma, this will move to its deserved value when time comes. Lot of institutional support is needed and I can see this stock is getting their attention. The holders of ACL need to wait patiently. Its not a 'quick-buck' stock.

Steady growth from ACL with annnuaize EPS of 18, also with the subdivision it has to trade between 70-75 after its subdivision. Notde EPF have also strengthen their hold in this quarter.  Thats a big plus point for ACL to have a uptrend very soon

As I said expecting a DPS of 3.50-4.50 next month. 130 before the subdivision and 70/72 price stabilization after subdivision are the key expectations.

Just noted that ACL annualized EPS is actually 19.7. It has grown in every aspects comparing to last quarter. A valuable share to have in ur portfolio.

There could be fluctuation in quarterly earnings due to short term issues. It is same in the hotel sector. During peak season they will have higher earnings and in other period they will have low earnings.
