20% return for this kind crappy finance company is not enough. even LB and Lfin having better returns +25% with low NPLs. only + factor is they do not reluctant to give divident.

Oh but it will reach 60 in short term..even when teller recommended.

What is NPL?
Yeah no much dividends btw.

Nav :- 135

Don't you think it will move?

ThilinaM

NPL means non performing loans ratio. in finance companys and banks if 1% NPL ratio change may lead minus EPS some times. NPL high means company have gave loans without thinking how to collect that. its the best possible way to bancrupt.  short term trading no issue if u r sure it will hit.

Finance companys recognise revenue as accumilated interest income. they dont calculate the collectability (unethical finance companys never give correct EPS figures) . i know many finance companys that showed massive EPS few continued years and next year bancrupt . investing in finance companys are very risky exept LB Lfin LOLC etc.

also they can continue paying divident without a issue until bancrupcy (from the loan cash flow).

ThilinaM

@KavinduTM - Why i not sell. reason is i keep them for divident(see all are div paying stocks). i just need the divident and thats enough. i will occationally do trading but when im sure its a sure shot. buy Seylan at 45.25 and sell in 50-75 range i think 90% possible . i will not play with investment shares. Sam can go up to 1000-2000 in next 10 year time (may be) .

Stocks are not like forex they grow. its a rare opportunety to buy some shares low prices last 6 month period. there is very rare possibility u can sell above mention shares at current pricess and buy same pricess again and repeat. 80% times it do not work like that .buying the lowest when its crashed and holding untill economical boom is a time tested approach (mean time satisfy with divident).

If you need to win markets you have to put all you have yourlife time continuesly. its the only time tested way become filty rich.

do not trust quick rich scheames without knowing risks.

Why there is no day or short term traders world top 100 billioneer list?
there is only investors understand the simple truth. investors can some time do trades
but its when they are 90%+ sure it will work and they can play small % of capital without hert

@ThilinaM Yes u will get dividends that's right. But when u r selling them u will get couple years dividend quickly isn't it?

And u can invest them in a new company. idk that much to advise but thats my idea xD

ThilinaM

@kavindu TM - your strategy will be correct in real estate. in stocks when u buy low prices all market is low when prices are high all market is high. when we try to find little valuation differences that do not make big sence with transaction costs. by trading your strategy at least 20% should be earn. that can be taken in long term investing by doing nothing (no effort) your strategy also correct in extreame valuations SAM/RCL etc etc are not in extream valuations.

Check accumilated EPS support NAV growth. else it will be accounting manipulations. i have seen many companys in CSE cook the books
