I also feel the same. Trading volumes are increasing with little appriciation like 10 cents aday.

Continues foreign buying

A known party confirmed PAP deal is around Rs 4.60 - 4.80    ( not  3.60 - 3.80  as told by many )


so its a good buy .  with a dividend announcement around  0.20 - 0.30 its a good return for even long term investors.


Counter expected heavy trading from today onwards as the AGM is on next Tuesday. 

The take-over parcel has to be traded within next 3 days , as per the brokers.


Current price level is good for buying.

Jay-Jay, my question is what is the importunacy of the AGM, unless to declare the dividend? and the new party will take quantities available in the market or is it a agreed deal between two parties?

Its a agreed deal as per the sources.   Second largest share holder is the seller and the Doctor also selling a parcel its unsderstood.


As per the rumours Mr Nimal is collecting from the market and he is holding a big quantity by now.  ( Wonder whats his gain in this transaction ? )

Some brokers in the belief that the buyer is collecting from the open market some quantity to sell at a higher price to set-off some percentage of their investment.  An experienced investor told me that the current price level of the counter is artificially maintained at a low  level with some fake selling quantities,  as a concerned party wanted to collect a huge quantity from the open market and they will push the share up to Rs 8/= - Rs 10 /= levels and re-sell to cover the whole investment . This was the Dammika Perera strategy a decade ago where he acquired more than 10 companies without spending any cent from the his own pocket.

Can assume this is the reason for the withholding of Dividend declaration as the large buyer don't want any upward price movement till he collects the quantity.  But at the AGM investors will question about the Dividend announcement ..!

Second share holder of PAP is Emerald Sri Lanka Fund and they hold 125,000,000 shares. No such crossing happens today! Also Dr.TS is the largest share holder of PAP, controls direct & indirect 28.08%. Therefore, if this is a TRUE major direction change of PAP!!

Does anyone in this forum attended PAP AGM? Was there any hints?

exactly technicals also supporting it heavily.. i collected sum today after seen this immediately.. must be a reason.. total turnover today around 44mil with the crossover

Today we got a chance to collect it around 4.10. There is good support @4.00.
This share will give at least 10% appreciation in the short term.

The collection is still happening. there were 8M buy orders at 4.00. will there be a breakout??
