Market dynamics have changed since the present government changed its policies to more production and export based economy. RAL including few other agri based stocks have the earning capabilities which could surprise many. The tax consessions given by previous budget is yet to take its full effect. Drawbacks are the lack of coconut production in the country which lead to a increase in prices. Proper management of the sector could see very healthy results. I have quantities Bought at 3.40-3.60. I will hold on to them. It is a good share.Presently trading below it's NAV. Circumstances has made it an inactive share. Higher coconut prices, continuous lock down disruptions and higher freight costs have contributed to poor show during last few quarters affecting their profitability. Once those hurdles are cleared, This has the potential to move by few folds.

Not a Buy recommendation.

Net Asset Value Per Share (NAVPS)
The NAVPS increased to Rs. 5.55 as at 30th September 2021 compared with Rs. 5.45 per share recorded as at 31st March 2021.

Revenue | Expenses |Profit After Tax
Group revenue increased by 37.5% to Rs. 1,373 Mn for the quarter ended 30th September 2021 compared with Rs. 999 Mn in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The composition of the Group Revenue for the quarter is 86% from export revenue and 14% from local revenue.

Total direct and other operational expenses have increased by 27.5% to Rs. 1,174 Mn for the quarter ended 30th September 2021 compared with Rs. 921 Mn in the comparable period in the previous year.

Profit After Tax
The Group reported a profit for the period amounting to Rs. 168 Mn for the quarter ended 30th September 2021 compared with the profit of Rs. 75 Mn reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Earnings Per Share
Earnings per Share was Rs. 0.28 for the quarter ended 30th September 2021, compared with Earnings per Share of Rs. 0.13 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
