Allowing market to crash only create more panic and people specially retailers who cant bear losses to affect and loose their hard earned savings or retirement money. Economy also affect badly.. ITS ALWAYS OK FOR GOVT TO INTERVENE DURING ABNORMAL SITUATIONS.. EVEN IF ITS GOING HIGH TOO MUCH...Yes Normal losses should not be intervened.. If you have purxhasd high and asking to close the market have no sense.
There will be ups and downs in the market, some times those are very steep.
