What will tomorrow hold? Can’t get worse than today I hope 🤞

If you didn't sell today like other panic sellers, you are the true winner.
It was a trap,wasn't it?
Look at the sharp rise of prices at counters like DIPD at last 5 mins.
Also there weren't much sellers, for some the automatic stop loss may have activated.

Sold today? Hell no
Infact I bought a few 🙂 need to think like the big players and play their own game
Last few mins I too noted there was an attempt to keep ASPI above 8000

has someone noted the turnover just before the second market halt. technically what i wanted to know is "turnover" in last 13 minutes. i was busy with some other work so i was unable to capture that.

What a free fall 😬
No end in sight. It seems both credit clearance and panic.
I cannot understand why anyone should panic now? Not even during lockdowns people panicked like this.

True but if brokers sell off trying to clear credit the new investors will never come back to investing.
It has to be done in a manner with least impact to investors and the market

very true, few days ago many new comers have been put money into CSE. i know they pick all counters at their recent highs. they have to suffer this due to inexperience and SEC poor regulatory. They will never come to CSE and let no one to enter.

The major reason for the market downfall mainly due to:
1.Brokers misunderstanding the SE circular regarding monitoring extended credits
2.Removing restriction on Tiles and fittings which directly hit Tile shares and indirectly hit overall share market since Tile importers pulls out their funds from CSE to resume imports
3.Plantation wage increase
4.Brokers are not giving any more extended credit to clients
5.Brokers have removed the buying power based on portfolio and only cash basis

BTW its good that DP counters are suspended on split. Yet this clould be a strategy to grab them at a lowest since the dividends are near..  Again a gain to the game handlers..  we too need to plan for it mates..

if anyone got expo at 40 can sell at 45 now. So many other opportunities for day traders. I guess everyone is scared to buy/sell now!

We can't predict this Sri Lankan market,I think the charts and analysis failed to guess this manipulation with a strong  help by SEC and CSE. Do not trust these people, everybody can see the damage they did to this market now. Even though all the companies showed their best results the Sri Lankan market (CSE) in big manipulators hands. The SEC letter fiasco drama witness all. They did it purposely to help them. These people do only harm to the Sri Lankan reputation in international investor community.
