I would suggest to CSE/SEC to followings may help to resolve down trend which resulted irresponsibility of them
·      Settlements must fix +7 days like 90s
·      Brokers licenses must cancel who failed to substantiate enough financial capabilities to cope with broker credit.
·      Mandate margin provider for portfolio over 1 million or similar.

What about brokering companies which provide strong buy recommendation and sell the same at low prices (in order to clear the credit / margin)
Eg : recently one institution recommended strong buy on LOLC, EXPO and some other companies today LOLC 18.35% down and EXPO 7.5% down.

I think retailor should be educated other wise this type of blenders will continue

If all these broker recommendation stocks saying 'strong buy' would give high returns in short time, any donkey may become rich no? So do your own research too. Also these strong buy targets are usually having timelines. Not overnight returns and depends on external factors too. Thats y everyone cannot get rich from stocks.

A stock brokering firms recommendation is after substantial research on a stock, hence they should act responsibly.

People are talking about trying to bring about immediate settlement and you are talking about increasing settlement period? Do you realise how much friction this will create?

How many can afford immediate settlement? Can we go this journey without such people? Foreigners leaving everyday. 'People' are not talking abt immediate settlement, its the CSE trying to bring it. They r trying to kill the market. Is CSE for only rich people?

Yes this is the only way these people used to bring the black dirty money back in to Sri Lanka. The Nature will punish them including to their whole families who consume pure people's money.

Trusting CSE / SEC is the biggest mistake investor could ever do. Don't think they are on our side. Think they are on other side. Actually they are
