It is a possibility. Remember how we escaped from the near bankruptcy thanks to action taken by SEC during covid-19 fire sales. Most probably market may close by Tuesday if the market mayhem persist on Monday

1.     From July 31, 1914, to Dec.15 1914
New York Stock Exchange closed from 31^st July 1914 to 28^th of November 1914 (the longest period in exchange history) until bonds began trading again. Stock trading re-opened 15^th of December 1914. Shares were not allowed to trade below closing prices of 30^th July of 1914. By 1^st of April 1915, all trading was re-established without price limits.

2.    During devastating attack on the World Trade Center closed the exchange for more than 10 days.

3.    Greek stock market shut down for 5 weeks in 2015 during their economic crisis

4.       Probably, CSE may close for three months.
