What does the new tax bill mean for Sri Lankan shareholders?

As per the new tax bill it does not indicate any details regarding the foreign income exemption on CIT. As far as I know still no CIT charged on foreign income but then next question is the dividend tax of 15% also getting exempted for foreign income since dividend tax is classed as an advanced income tax?

If yes then foreign income generated by a company would really be 0% tax in the resident shareholder point of view once they get dividend payment?


The above questions are regarding PVT LTD companies.
