AAIC has a No. of 375 Mn. issues shares at present.

51% of that will cost 26.775 Bn. even @ a price of 140 LKR per share.

Any buyer of over 30% or over will also have to make a mandatory offer to all other shareholders to purchase the remaining stake of 49% @ the same price per share & that will require a provision of a further 25.725 Bn. LKR.

So that will add up to a total figure of 52.500 Bn. LKR. 

Does the LOLC group currently have that level of financial strength and capability at its disposal Question
