DFCC and NDB deal, is it confirmed? I mean even unofficially.

Dudi no offence machang , couldn't resist it as you said mergers , and didn't specify the sector. About above , yes its a possibility but not in the near term, my father has been dead for 15 years , my mother is 88 but still working, seriously. So any re merger will have to wait.  Smile

What do you want to know?

I think NTB is in stable position and do not need a merger. ( they can merge if they wish to but doesn't require due to CB rules). However JKH and CFIN reducing their NTB stake is something that can happen if CB pushes again.

SLS thanx for infor. Im holding nearly 8000 NTB shares at average price of 59. So can you tell what is the best strategy to follow... Sell now and buy later... NTB very hard to jump over 70 ne?

Sandun, yes rs 70 is resistance for NTB. But if you are long term NTB has more to go. If you are short term, wait for few mroe days to see the market direction before makign a decision.  I think market has more to go ( but I wish I control the market)
