hahaha I sincerely wish this was true.. I collected at 38 levels many moons ago and now I cant get rid of them!

I'm new to the Market & this forum
I collected AEL @ 28.
I see good signs for AEL now even though they lost northern highway.

I think AEL is part of the port city construction, if so there is a good news.

All, play safe with this stock. Future cashflows of this company is uncertain. Will can get a clear idea on what's going to come with the new government policies that will come into power after the election. Till then wait and see. Their latest quarter result too not good.

This is because of KRISH project is going to approve. It has more chances to approve. But we dont know,when will start it. Even started i am away from the buying side yet.

ZPMC Lanka Company (Private) Limited; the joint venture between Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company Limited of China and Access Engineering PLC, in engaged in a contract for commissioning of three 65T Ship to Shore cranes at King Abdulla Port, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The scope of the work includes offloading the cranes, making the 11v electrical connection for the QCs and completing all the necessary requirements of the container handling equipment, commissioning, testing and handing over the equipment.

ZPMC Lanka Company (Private) Limited, which was incorporated in 2013 by Access Engineering PLC together with Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company Limited of China, the world’s largest container handling equipment manufacturer, provides total maintenance solutions for container handling equipment and facility maintenance services to the port sector in Sri Lanka and the region. A qualified and well experienced commissioning team has commenced work at King Abdulla Port, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and begun the assignment scheduled to be completed by April 2015.

Access Engineering makes steady performance in the first 9 months
Access Engineering PLC released its 3rd quarter results of 2014/15 FY to the Colombo Stock Exchange yesterday. Accordingly turnover at the company level for the quarter ended 31 December 2014 was recorded at Rs 2.38 billion. Turnover for the 9 months at the company level recorded at Rs 8.78 billion is a drop of 10% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. This is due to the progress of some of the construction work carried out by the company being hampered by delays. Turnover for the quarter and the 9 months at the group level stood at Rs 4.12 billion and Rs 11.84 billion respectively.

Profit attributable to owners of the company during the quarter at company and group level was Rs 317 million and Rs 531 million respectively. During the cumulative period up to 31 December 2014 the company recorded earnings to owners amounting to Rs 1.46 billion and Rs 1.71 billion respectively at company and group level.

During the quarter under review the company invested in 80% of the equity of Access Projects (Pvt.) Ltd., for a consideration of Rs 1 billion. Access Projects (Pvt.) Ltd., contributed approximately Rs 86 million to the group's bottom line during the quarter. The company's 84% owned subsidiary Sathosa Motors PLC and the fully owned subsidiary, Access Realties (Pvt) Ltd., have contributed approximately Rs 132 million and Rs 112 million respectively whilst the 30% owned associate ZPMC Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., contributed Rs 9.5 million to the bottom line during the 9 months under review.

The total asset base of the group stood at Rs 22.26 billion. Equity attributable to owners of the company of Rs 15.62 billion at the group level translates into a net asset per share of Rs 15.62, a growth of five per cent since 31 March 2014.
The Board of Directors of AEL comprises Sumal Perera (Chairman), Christopher Joshua (Managing Director), Rohana Fernando (COO), Shevantha Mendis, Dharshana Munasinghe, Ranjan Gomez, Dilhan Perera, Professor Malik Ranasinghe, Niroshan Gunarathna and Dinesh Weerakkody.
