Definitely JKH will adhere to its original plan.Accordingly casino will be in operation in 2018.

Casino will be there and it will be operated by a big foreign casino company but license they'll obtain is one of wijeywardena.
Only two people in srilanka has casino license.
I'm only denying the stock guru report on govt issuing new license to a foreign operator. majority of the profits will be shared equally amoung jkh n DP or WIJEY. Small portion will be given to franchisee on top of the franchisee fee. That was the understanding they had earlier n according what I heard from jkh people who are working on the project plan still hasn't change.

people who see Sri Lanka will become nxt Bangkok after they allow waterfront project a casino is stupid.
We already have 5 casino licenses given out long time ago. IWe should see how Singapore implemented regulation towards casino to minimize the impact to social n cultural aspect of it. We should charge minimum 100usd for locals to enter the casino then locals will get discouraged to enter casino.

This is a totally a misleading post made with some selfish intentions. ( I suspect you must be holding W.22 and desperate to make the exit )

Correct news is that , USA based  ABERDEEN FUND  is making the exit from Colombo . ( may be a percentage they are selling. but who knows waht is the percentage ? )
That's the reason for JKH coming down for Rs 175/=   . You will witness this price many times in coming days. Also they are selling COMB , SAMP in the same way.

I am sad to say that current political development in the country is very fragile and I personally have no interest at all to engage in the CSE till I feel my money is safe.

In coming days we will see

1) increase in INTEREST RATES
2) USD dollar reaching Rs 150/=
3) hike in fuel charges


There is a 99 % chance of that CSE is making a correction in this month , so that I made my exit on day before yesterday.

This might be my last post in this forum for a few months time as I'm going to take leave from the market.

Water front is a mixed development project, with two apartment towers, and a hotel etc. Whether they get the Casino or not there is no impact to the investment. Only the average room rate will be discounted if the Casino is not operated. Do not worry JKH share will go up to 400+ levels once the apartment profits are accounted as per the new IFRS standards.
