I'm just assuming it will go up, cause now everyone knows govt is looking for a buyer to takeover the company.

Companies like Hemas nawaloka durdans will for sure will be interested in buying into this.
I don't think Asiri will be looking into this cause they have 2 hospitals near proximity of Lanka hospital

Major shareholder list includes Sri Lanka insurance corporation. This insurance corporation will own many stocks other than this. So why they sell only LHCL. Not clear to me.

I think there is a gamble behind this deal sometimes UNP supporter or even a minister has an idea to be a major share holder, to my mind there was an article criticizing that 2 UNP people handle all purchases of Lanka Hospitals soon after 08th of January one of those two is a monk these 2 takeover 10% commission of total monthly purchase, this kind of things not unbelievable after central bank treasury bills fraud.

It just rumors, i heard two rumors from two brokers. Everyone creating rumors to drive up the price.

One said Asiri and Durdans had made an offer, other said its a inside deal between Harry J(Dist) and MS/Chandrika. According to rumors Harry contributed heavily to MS campaign, so it will be given to him at a favorable price to him.

Amount due from the Secretary to the Treasury o/a of SLIC Shares
As per the Judgment delivered by the Supreme Court of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on June
2009 it was declared and directed that the shares of SLIC purported to have been sold to Distilleries Consortium

As directed by the said judgment, the Secretary to the Treasury returned the money that was paid by Group

be computed and audited from the date of the last audited Balance Sheet of SLIC to 04th June 2009 to enable MHL
to obtain such profits.
However, Secretary to the Treasury has not yet determined the value of profits to be retained by the MHL;

Fortis is the 3 largest shareholder they paid Rs 60 in 2011 to buy there current stake. It may be Fortis and the price will be higher now and this sale to fortis will bring in foreign exchange in to the country which is badly needed at the moment. This will move and it is a safe betHarry82 wrote:Amount due from the Secretary to the Treasury o/a of SLIC Shares
