I will give you the approval for UBC, TYRE, and ASIR. CCS is ok but bit expensive. GRAN will be based on their cash flows but better to moniter for a while. Why don't you looking at stocks such as NEST, RCL, PARQ, etc.

Thanks Kasun ans EC,

Mr.EC, Honestly, I have enter only for CCS recently base on your recommendation on the forum (enter at 450 please confirm if it is OK for L/T else I can drop it)

http://forum.srilankaequity.com/t47291-ceylon-cold-stores-a-valuable-illiquid-stock?highlight=cold

About NEST, it has been stay at same level (1900- 2200) for 3 years now and would you recommend it for L/T?

About RCL, there will be any effect for RCL with the last budget proposal on Tile?

I have considered your approval for UBC, TYRE and ASIR,

What about CARG? What is the best one between TYRE and RCL?

Please expecting your kind comments, Thank you.

Dear pfxavier,

Please recheck your valuation chart because most of them are wrong.
Ex:- RAL, PE 6.81 base on last FY and trailing PE is 9.45.
Last year EPS, 0.51 and 9 months 0.37

Thanks

Dear Danidu,

Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I have calculated the PE is based on current market price (3.5). I have got the data for analysis from http://markets.ft.com/research/Markets/Tearsheets/Summary?s=RAL.N0000:CSE . As I said earlier I am new to market. If I am wrong please help me correct my mistakes.

Thanks in advance

Thank you .Actually you mentioned that post which I my self couldn't remember. Their I have given my medium term target as 440/- when the price was around 410/- so it has now moved to 485/- I am little bit ok there isn't it. Any way CCS is a solid stock and if you have already bought you should hold.

Yes Nestle has stayed in the same levels from 2014 but I don't think it will be there for another 2 years. I strongly say you to buy it at this price and hold. You will see its price within another couple of years. For your information I am holding NEST for over ten years now and my cost is less than 100 without deducting dividends. With dividends my cost is negative.

RCL is best because of the superiority of their products and their exporting plans. You will be amassing how their performance will be after another one or two years. For Kelani Tyres please read my thread on Kelani Tyres.

Cargills is a good stock and will grow but growth will be not significant compared to above counters but not bad of a choice for you.

Thank you so much Mr.EC,

Yes, your predictor was correct on CCS for short term. Also I feel and confidence on that for L/T investment as well. 9 months EPS is 20. Trailing PE,17 which is lower than NEST,CARG, LION, CTC also good D/Y. low risk as NEST, I will try also for NEST, because both of them are having same model, low risk, growth potential, good D/Y, future value.

I have read the thread on TYRE and LITE.

Thank you.

good post. good selections. smart investor.......

ccs- best counter for long run, has good future like nest. put your bucket 1000 shares.
carg - this also good for long run put another 2000 shares.
go for tyre - future bright
go for amsl ( additionally, you get discount for medical bills)
bank go for pabc strong counter for l/t
from me add llub, tjl and rexp.

buy at current market price and closed them for long term, don't look at daily price movement. you will see the huge profit future, don't panic for temporary situations.
ex: ccs will be more than 1000rs. 2-3 years, you get good d/y. (normally there will be split 1 to 4 at 800rs) the advantage of investing good counter is not to harass yourself, you do your daily job and sleep nicely. other stock will be the same.
all the best.
