all what i see is tax ..........tax,,,,,,,,,,and nothing but tax.........................! bottom line will diminish ! consumer spending will be record low ...........! no one will want to make saving in the bank because you will be taxed when depositing,withdrawing and on interest as well ! any thoughts on this or am i just panicing ............!!!!!!!!!!!

You are absolutely right. Depreciating rupee, increase in inflation, diminished purchasing power will result in overall lower economic growth. May be next move by the GOVT would be to provide MPs with Rolls Royce cars and a minimum monthly wage of at least US$10,000 ++++, so that they will not be affected by rupee depreciation. Disgusting!!!!

If consumer spending is going to be record low how can they collect intended Tax amounts ?

Other government levy
Teleco levy
Value added tax
Total tax charge is Rs.671.33 which is 61% of monthly package value.
