would be highly appreciated. I'm currently holding FDs and a Moneymarket account. i tried day trading years ago and as you guessed i couldn't make profits.so if i were to invest long term in stockmarket(5-10years ,deposit a % of salary every month)
1. would it better to let an asset management company do it for me or should i DIY it? (i was learning a bit about companies and picked about 10-12 companies with dividends, pretty excited to try again)
2. as seasoned veterans in CSE have you made profits in long term ?
i'm very curious about question no.2 coz for past few years s&p20 and other indexes have been most flat or negative.with inflation, portfolios must be shrinking ryt?or so i thought. i know you guys have valueble insights and can't wait to hear them and learn,
mainly i wanted a diversified exposure and slowly grow my networth, with goverment cutting away interest rates, cse closing down for months freezing money i wanted to make sure i know what I'm getting to.
P.S- I'm not scared to lose my capital,if i were to diy it I'd be sticking with highly liquidable stocks like sampth ,chevron, etc.
Thank you all for helping
