There are stock brokers are speeding lies and try to catch innocent investors .I know this is there job but don't lie to people .srilanka is at high vulnerable for debts.
I can't see any development in near future.
Those who are promoting overvalued stocks are manipulators .

Good that you open a new thread to enlighten us not to get trapped by so called manipulators.

Nobody can say market is overvalued.. pe at 8.8
It is extremely low compared to other emerging markets. Also there are good counters you can buy with a huge discount. But unfortunately most people go after crap

The entire world is vulnerable to corona virus at the moment. Does it mean that it is the end of the world? My answer to it is a certain No.
There are ways & means of overcoming any situation ranging from pandemics to debt crisis. There is always a solution, obviously at some cost.
 We all have our right to express our opinions but when someone over exaggerates and becomes aggressive in support of his or her point of view then that itself may cast doubt on the particular individual's credibility. So, at times the saviours turnout to be the predators.
When market moves up some scream that its manipulation, likewise when market downturn takes place some scream its manipulation. So, best thing is to make your own judgement and rely on your own intuition.

Per day 60-70 Mn dolelrs outflow from country
The stocks some mentioned ate also overvalued.check some analysis and fund intrinsic value.
I don't say all companies cant perform the companies who are into .manufacturing and export will be beneficial. But i can say market overall will not move beyond 5200 level .
There may be ups and downs and manipulations.
Srilanka has to pay 13.2 Bn between 2020-2023 .
Need to control doller. But can't do bothat once. That is pretty sure.
Due to degrading the credit rating srilanka cant issue bonds with these rates .rate will be increased definitely and follows rupee depreciation .
Except these factors I know more secret I can't disclose .
According these I adjust my portfolio still not going to buy I left with AEL from my last portfolio (all sold in december)
Eg-investing in Gems ,investing in some shares commodities-oil
You need to adjust dont believe on books always.you just study and adopt it accordingly .
May be srilankan market is going at 8.8 × times P/E d9esnt mean we go and invest .
After election you can watch Goverment will put PAYE tax again ,increase cooperate tax ,interest tax again
And will sell government economic hubs
I can bet they will sign MCC .
Otherwise no exit path even if temporary .

I think the foreigner wanted to sell but accidentally broker put quantity to buy.
After election ( hope sc gives ruling soon) & especially if GR secures 151 ( quite possible according to my friend whose father is a leading JSB personality) then GR will take decisions that are good for country whether East Terminal or MCC. In a nutshell, Sri Lanka's strengths will far exceed the weaknesses in the Post Covid & Post election era.

A genuine person will not be aggressive in thrusting his point of view down the throat of others. Only unhappy souls with ulterior motives do so. There have been instances where people who posed off as saviours have turned out to be predators.

This thread is misleading, there is no market drop now

Market is recovering from its previous low still there are lot of opportunities 

Think wisely and invest don't loose your hope by these type of people who try to create panic may be he is belong to so called red party.
