Teller said some investors lost their Buying Powers due to unsettled balances. This issue was discussed in the forum earlier day too. Some have mistaken correct deadlines and buying power. I also learnt from this forum.

Obvious market correction after a panic sale !
No large scale operations are closed in the country , only a drop in productivity 5-10% due to covid.
Why should market comedown when business is ongoing ?

Government has no choice but to keep  operations running across all businesses- which should be the case anyway.

Government position is to live and work with the Corona. No longtime lockdown is preferred by them. I think this also link with the investor decisions. Rather being panic just for a curfew SMS now people like to deal with risk. And also some people hold their stocks and wait for correct price demand unlike early panic buy /sale

Most of the business running specially export sector government backing more to work

Some wanted to create panic and buy shares at bargain but now most investors not panicking like before

I think next week with good results coming market will go up

I think situation depends on the Corona administration outcome.
In short term, investors may have gut feeling all those headache for a short time and authority will controlled down it soon. They will buy and sell normally.

If Corona continues to increase rapidly and if administration also seems struggling , in long-term Investors may lose their motivation and become backwards.
Therefore Corona controlling outcome affects. Operation of economics actors, Companies should back to normal or peoples should feel they will commence soon.

I believe the major factor for the market up on 29th was Mike Pompeo's visit. His statements in the media conference reflected that the USA has no idea to threaten Srilanka and indicated their willingness to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The message of his all statements is that our appeal, PPE and other industrial export to the USA would be further increased.
