I expect 7.5 + EPS for Q3 and the possible target price can be Rs.240 - 275 or even 300, because Palm Oil segment will generate larger numbers in Q3 and Q4.
Further, from Q2 to Q3, Average Palm Oil Market Price up by 35% plus. So, Watawala should generate more.

Palm Oil Ends at New Record High on Growing Concern Over Supply

Recent measures by Indonesia, the world’s top palm oil grower, to control soaring local prices also raised concerns that exports could suffer. The nation may make it mandatory for exporters to set aside a portion of the tropical oil for the local market, Indrasari Wisnu Wardhana, director general of foreign trade, said Friday.
Indonesia’s export policy may prompt importing nations to switch to second-biggest palm oil grower Malaysia, said Anilkumar Bagani, research head of Mumbai-based Sunvin Group. Top buyers India and China may also start to shift to soft oils, like soybean oil, given record high prices of palm oil, Bagani said.WATA December Results- forecasted 800x-1

Palm oil climbed to a fresh record high on persisting concerns over supplies in top growers Indonesia and Malaysia and a rally in rival soybean oil.

Futures for April delivery jumped 2.6% to close at 5,322 ringgit ($1,272) a ton in Kuala Lumpur, posting a fifth straight week of gains and taking its weekly advance to 7.4%. Soybean oil, palm’s closest substitute for food and fuel, increased for a fifth day in Chicago.

Palm oil supply in Malaysia is likely to stay tight in the first quarter of 2022 as the nation is still facing an acute labor shortage, said Paramalingam Supramaniam, director at Selangor-based broker Pelindung Bestari. Output may slump 18% in the first 20 days of January from a month earlier, he said. Palm is also taking strength from a strong rally in competing vegetable oils, he said.

Crude palm oil output in the world’s second-biggest producer fell 11.3% from a month earlier to 1.45 million tons in December, the biggest drop in 11 months, on labor-related issues and floods in some key-growing areas.

Over the longer term, though, production is expected to recover. That’s a view reflected in the forward curve, which shows the palm oil market in backwardation with longer-dated prices lower than nearer ones.

Top buyers India and China may also start to shift to soft oils, like soybean oil, given record high prices of palm oil, Bagani said.
