Monawada muththe othana karanne... mokatada oba oya REEF balanne.... Very Happy

Btw, from your posts it appears as if most of your PF is REEF. I had a similar situation with PLC.N, it shot up the day I sold it... Mad

May be you should diversify a little bit next time Smile

Cheers!

Anubis,
It a pity. When you were trading PLC several times, I did ask are you sure about being able to buy lower after selling? You succeeded several times buying and selling but one fine day " Batalu Koluwage Kathawa thamai une"

Anyway, look at some shares which has not run much now. Also PLC has a partnet that has not moved much Wink

@slstock: I initially bought PLC.N at 11.80, managed to trade on it and averaged down to 11.10... (this was during the bear)

Then I was too greedy and thought I could average down again.... Very Happy

I have collected some SMLL and PLC.N again, and the PLC.N is again at a small profit... Smile

Anyway, not diversifying was the biggest mistake. Plus, trying to average down every time the share went down....

Not much harm done, although I could've made a fortune if I was bit more careful... Smile

Cheers!

Most of the people who bought crap and speculative shares must be feeling what opportunity cost is?

Hmm, though there is a risk like Small joked that the day you sell it might go up ( it can happen) , you are having a opportunity cost loss now as you have bought this for non long term holding.

This is something you have to do with a Risk ( if reef goes up) , but you can also think of party divesting some shares of reef and investing in a stronger fundamental share that has not moved. I think I suggested this some weeks ago also. To start with check some banking/fin sector shares that has not move much. In the worst case if these banks/fin growing faster it is good and if they pay dividend it is even better if you have to holding it in the worst case.

OR
Since you been patience all this time you can wait to see till the end of this trend continues and whether reef increases to partly recover you loss. If there is a steep profit taking correction, then ar that point you can rorate some to stronger , share that has not run.

REEF initiated the run. Who knows, REEF may be waiting to finish the run.
