Please do not act like Zombies

I see many posters from old times also not contributing anymore. They had been bombarded with - reps when even genuine educated arguments are given. This is not healthy for the forum. I understand when the forum grows more diverse opinions come. We accept , welcome and acknowledge that.


But these guys with hidden agendas gives - reps for even valid posts with No comments , no explanation. This is to suffice their own hidden agendas. Ie Another forum of manipulation.

From what I understand why they give - reps when
a) we do not promote their crap shares bought high and when we genuinely( from our experience) tell other to be careful .
They hate us for that.
b) we talk about fundamentals, they don;t like as they believe in Gambling only to make quick money .
c) when we politely point out a correction to a oversight they made for the betterment of the forum ,
what do they do ?
- they do not say thank you I see I made a mistake like a gentlemen/lady
but they go out behind backs and take Revenge with - reps as that is the only thing they know how to do



This is a recent plague which entered the forum which make some people's mind go zombie.
Now what the Plague will make them think


1) I should should Not contribute in a positive way to the forum or have a educated discussion
2) I should go silently behind back and fulfill a pre programmed agenda with - reps
3) I cannot do this alone as others do not support me so I will create multiple accounts to act as there are 3 people atleast
4) No matter what I will not be a Good human as I have only zombie mind
5) it is beyond my comprehension that what I do bad unto others will come back to me soon



Lately I myself has been a target like many others ( who are not contributing to the forum anymore) by this person/s

* I had only 20 - reps from January 2011. Thats 20 minus reps for 9 months
* within 8 days I was given 60 new - reps ( total 80 rep) . that is 300% growth in 8 days.

Wow what a company with 300% growth . Hurry go invest


BTW, - repping guy

1) I see you have 3 accounts coming under different names
2) You give - reps in block of 3 ( 3 accounts) at times.
3) Give everyday maximum of allowed 5 - reps. ( So you don;t have positive reps to give to anybody as you wasted
all your reps)
4) So 3 accounts X 5 reps = 15 reps per day . Last few days you gave 60 - reps ( 15 - reps per day)

Really all these - reps started when ? Recently as 7-8 days ago. After a certain post ( ah ha)

You are trying to manipulate people ( new comers) by letting them believe the post is bad by not only giving 1 - rep but cheating the system to give 3 - reps using 3 accounts you created. You are nothing but another form of a Manipulator.


I see this happening not only to me but many others. As a moderator I got complaints by other genuine posters with same plight. When I tried replying to their posts I got more -reps in the past.

My request to other who are being bombarded with - reps for no reasons :

Who cares damn about backboneless people , who are even not strong enough to know what they are doing or tell the reason why. If they think they can stop us posting what we genuinely feel and know we should feel sorry for them. But we should not let them suceed with manipulation if you want this forum to survive. Let us not let genuine posters think their volunteer time spent here is wasted.

As slstock indicated in the above post, we are very sad that some members are abusing the reputation system. Reputation system is there to identify the quality of a post from that of the others and not to discredit a member by bombarding a post with negative reps.

As per the forum guidelines Members are allowed to create only one account. Therefore use of multiple account would result in deletion of such accounts and lifetime ban. Similarly members are also warned not to abuse the reputation system which may result in similar action.

We are a small community, we need to help each other. Slstock is one of the most genuine contributors to this forum, he had relentlessly helped many members to learn how to invest in the stock market. I am truly grateful to him.

Let's make this forum a place we enjoy!

Well said Quibit, I have been reluctant to contribute often to this Forum anymore due to the same reasons "slstock" mentioned above.Also, I am more involved in North American stock exchanges like NYSE than in CSE.

I agree with you & pls note that I was a victim of such bombardments for many occasions but as you said yes only 3 or 4 genuine PPL came for support (You slstock, windi5 ect)

Still hope we can revert back to good old days....

you may be a experienced person in share market, may be a newbie, may gaining profits or huge losses
but
one thing is clear that, you have a very very sensitive mind which trembles even for a very small knock

Think that I'm posting some valuable posts here(not talking about me) & suddenly just vanished, I know that, qb doesn't give a daaaamn thing about it. Admin here knows that, it's an un avoidable fact & some one will fill the gap as time goes on.

Not only Reps dear friends;

The attitudes shown, level of Ideas, arguments made, the way they reply, topics created day by day by - I do not understand which kind of people are they - keep many initial contributors away from the forum.

I think it is better if admin can completely observe this reputation system.I mean who give the -/+ rep, to which post.Then those accounts can be tracked down and deleted.There is nothing called 'life time ban' here as we do not reveal our identity.

But if it is observed, with good active participation we can overcome this problem at least to some extend.

There are few people here who like to give -reps for the valuable posts. So we all can see clearly how unintelligent they are. So dont worry brother.

Absurd... There are some ppl who misuse the rep system. I think Admin should have a system to closely monitor rep system. Otherwise members like slstock who has a wide knowledge in the stock market business would discourage in posting. Realy we learn lot from his posts.

As a active member in this forum for a short time, I found valuable contributions were posted by many members like yourself, but I used to wonder why some posts were given - rep ( sometime even for the thanks note ).
Politics, jealous, back boneless etc etc we can find all over the place. Leave them.
