Previous posts on banking rally suggested that the much waited banking rally would kick off once the financial results of all the banks are out..Since most of the financial results are out, can we expect a mega banking rally next week as suggested earlier??

But the questions is, would it be MEGA?? Financial performance of most of the banks is not attractive.. Considering the financial performance of B&F sector, if a rally is to happen, it will not be MEGA.. But I have heard people talking about the budgetary benefits towards the B&F sector..So the future got to be safe for B&F sector..
What do you guys think? Would it be MEGA??or would be just a small movement? OR does anyone think there will not be a banking rally at all?? Appreciate your comments..

this is CSE,as everyone says anything can happen.........
many bank prices are fairly valued in current stages,so if an extraordinary thing not going to happen relate to banking sector..there may be not a rally.
previous bank rally starts because of healthy budget proposals and good decisions made by CBSL........
so there may be swing rallies, but can't expect a huge rally.....
this is my opinion..i may be wrong.......

I highly doubt any mega banking rally soon.
because apart from Commercial bank not any banks were able to show considerable increase of core business profit margins in this quarter. whole year reports may be good some banks but we had mega banking rally due to that in last September.

in my opinion, banks may be able to increase its profit margins in next quarter since new budget proposal (tax cuts on financial sector) affect from next quarter.

There will be a steady improvement in share prices rather than a big rally. Union bank was also grossly oversubscribed.

i personally feel, if the banks need to move we need big players involvement, see the last 2 weeks highest contributors and how many big price shares contributed heavily on volume

Liquid shares like Banks generally move up steady upwards, many investors committed their funds for the Union bank IPO last week. Investors seem to be having lot of money in hand and in banks. Now the IPO is over, investors will definitely look at the existing profitable banks in the CSE from now onwards most of the other sectors have already gone up.
