Jan 04, 2012 (LBT) - NDB has shown a highly a very promising growth rate in the 9 months of business operations in 2011. During the 9 months from January to September AVIVA the growth rate was a very promising 15 percent compared to the same period last year. The following figures have made AVIVA very proud; Revenue on a Consolidate basis totalled 9.912 million (LKR) and Revenue based on written premium totalled 8.268 million (LKR). Other company portfolios also contributed to the tremendous growth in revenue. A life product that includes savings products and investment products made a large combined contribution to overall growth.
This new range of products combined with other products shows the AVIVA commitment and this commitment is as intense as its partners like partners in bancassurance. In the 9 month period ending September 30, the company's profit after taxes was reported at 210 miilion (LKR). This figure is represents an increase amounting to 222 million (LKR) compared with the figures in 2010. These financial figures are not all there is to the growth of AVIVA. Contributions to the business from life insurance fund are not included in this valuation.
