Thanks osmand
But only current values are avilable.
following are the values for 2012.01.11

CDS MARKET VALUE TOTAL (Rs.) 1,481,630,547,968
CDS MARKET VALUE DOMESTIC (Rs.) 1,072,123,543,552.00
CDS MARKET VALUE FOREIGN (Rs.) 409,506,971,648.00
if we calculate the values

CSE foreign holding % as at 2012.01.11 ----- 27.63
Local Holding % as at 2012.01.11 ------------72.36

Nearly one fourth is foreign holding

If values are available for 2009 ,2010 it is very fine

Welcome

We have to consider the fact that this amount includes foreign controlling interest also.

GREG , NEST, LLUB, CTC, KAPI, ACAP, ATL, BOGA, DOCK, EAST, GHLL and so many. Remember RICH and EAST though owned by two Sri Lankans, still they are under their offshore companies, and included under foreign holding. So tradable foreign holding is now less than 7%, which is considerably less than 2010. So nothing to worry. But we should avoid companies where there are lots up for sale by foreigners, such as JKH and COMB.

This is funny. The last few posts in this thread says we should get rid of the remaining foreign funds from the system so that we would be safe.
