Pick up some fundamentally strong counters... Future winning stocks would be from hotel industry, construction industry and food manufacturing...........because these industries are in high growth in Sri Lanka

What technical you are talking about........ Lots of companies are massively undervalued....I know there are prople draw lots of chart and talk about so many things...You know onething Sri Lankan market is very small market..When people pump little money it would go up......Having looked at the growth level of companies, the bull run started longitme back. This is the brokers and some fund managers done this....I am very very positive ..It will break 6500 by mid Feb 2012.........just wait and see...read my previous two post..what I have predicted is happened yesterday and today.

I have told before that banks will lead a possible rally. Since we see a heavy buying activity in the banking sector and other blue chips, there is a sign that big pockets are in the market. This maybe due to the anticipated good.results from banks and good future ahead for them.

Cheers

I think Shajesh and wallstreetguy could both be right... There will certainly be ups and downs from day to day, but the long term trend is probably upward.

Next week is a very important week, will the ASI break 5800 Resistance ? will foreigners dump their shares to our retailers who will start to collect expecting a bull run ? or will there be more foreign buying ?

But for a fact i know there are so many people waiting to sell shares they collected this week and get profits in coming week

Hmmm... I respect your opinion, but I am not a trader. When I buy shares, it is an investment for the future - because I believe in the long term prosperity of certain companies in Sri Lanka.

In a straight line? Or zig-zag?
Does it run around in circles? Or does it run backwards? Razz
