Dear experts

I’m quite new to stock trading I need your valuable opinion on my following portfolio. I have another 2 lakhs of my hard earning money and still thinking of putting that into CSE ( lidata watunama lin katinma goda enna ona nisa) what should be the my strategy? Should I average existing shares or focus on new shares? During the time my realized loss was around Rs 35,000. Your valuable opinions are welcomed. Very Happy

Appreciate your intention investing in CSE.
To a novice the PF seems to be too diversified.
To gain confidence in trading or investing you need to focus in few shares.
Build your confidence and handle more counters.
Good luck.

friend, i am not an expert. but i can say something to you. As kumar said your PF is too diversified. And lots of are penny stocks. did you buy those in your own decision? or someone else ? further it seems your have got in to the rallies in the wrong time too.

Pls do your homework before your buying decision. select five to ten stocks. it should be diversified among sectors. Select fundamentals as well as one or two penny stocks which are technically sounds. These days try to select low PERs. Here i can not say the names. but there are plenty of gems. Do not sell at loss, if your intention for long term.

Do not worry & do not panic when market is going down. Because your PF will not be zero. (kandak naggoth pallamak thiyanawa wagema, ilangata kandakuth thiyana bawa amathaka karanna epa)

I'm not an expert.
As per your PF there's only MARA and GREG near to the current market value. I suggest you to hold on to those shares. For other stocks may be you have to wait for ages for market price come to your AVG price. Therefore i suggest you to dispose those stocks at now and bear 45K loss which is nearly 20% loss of your initial investment if I'm correct. Market may come down further. You may have plenty of chances to buying stocks in bargain prices in 3-4 weeks.Do not get hurry to invest. Wait for right chance. I suggest you to Invest only in 5-7 stocks. There are few stocks at CSE you can gain more than 50%. If you smart and lucky enough you may recover all your losses and start gaining profits in few months. Further your analytical skill on each stocks (You do not need to know TA, I personally believe TA isn't working at CSE. It's more than enough you can know the basics like daily volume on each shares, price ranges, historical data and so on) will be affected when you choosing right stock at the right time. And if you have connection with reliable source that would be an additional advantage to enter at the right time to the rally. I recommend you to not to go for fundamentally strong stocks (those shares doesn't work on these days), go for stocks which you can play safely and after monitoring some period of time. You do not have to follow all this. It's your money, take your own decision Gd Luck mate Smile
