After 3 months, we are at the same place once again - on the verge of falling through the 5000 mark. How much below that will we go?

I am impressed that sellers are holding firm and not reducing their prices. This shows the underlying strength of the market.

There would be technical support at these levels: 4962 was the lowest we have reached (on 14-Feb-2012) after the all-time high. The big question is whether this support will hold... Time will tell!

Don't trust what brokers says.. All things they are telling are bullshit.. every time when the market going down continuously they tells it's because margin calls and when market going to break resistance level and turnover decreasing they tells EPF going to invest every time.. haha utter rubbish.. Very Happy

I saw many technical guys predicts ASI will fall to 4700-4800 level. In my opinion Market won't break 5000. Whatever charts say, i am a one who strongly believe market will have a small bounce back even if it going to break 5000. Continuous foreign buying and dividend announcements from high cap stocks will help to hold ASI from going down further.

I really don't understand what is the logic behind local traders selling with losses at these dirty cheap prices. is it the rumour of implementing DVP system or some strange reason something you and me don't know? Wink

anyway it is really annoying.. But if DVP implemented, it will be huge disaster as it will kill retailers and short term traders who trade mostly with credit. I guess most of them still suffering from unrealized losses. So how can they trade only with Cash? Remember over regulated markets will never succeed. All i can say is not to panic and sell with losses stupidly. In worse case be a long term investor.. Wink
