ASPI ended the day at 5,279 points.

Milanka Price Index moved up by 4.10% ending at 4,552 points.

The market saw a turnover of Rs. 1.15 billion while foreigners purchased more than what they sold to record a net foreign inflow of Rs. 51 million.

645,200 of HNB shares crossed hands with a share price tagged at Rs. 142 while the 962,200 shares of SPEN also crossed hands with a share priced at Rs. 114.

“The extreme pessimisms that dictated play over the last few weeks helped ignite this rally today. Throughout history BEAR market rallies have been strong and try to convince the market that the larger trend had changed. There is a possibility that the market can rally a bit more tomorrow especially in the morning and cool off later” Bartleet Religare Securities stated in its daily market report.

Do not be so harsh on dindon guys.

Earlier he was Mr.Optimistic.Then the poor fellow might have sold his/her stuff at a loss with intention of buying back it later....may be when ASI at 3000-4000 Wink .So now when he sees market going up he becomes panic. It is quite understandable isn't ? After all we all are some what greedy fellows aren't we ? Embarassed

There is a huge gap (10%) between buy and sell orders. If you buy, you are taking a 10% risk.

Dindon1,

I have seen your posts from the time you came to the forum.

Initially you were so optimistic that you 'so enthusiastically" said almost every day not to sell and market will go up.
Now you take complete opposite stance and talk all negative.

Next week can head south if we do not see some bullish trend. It all depends. I am Not saying No. There are market cycles and we saw as expected market went up somewhat this week due to extreme oversold condition and other factors. What happens next week depends on several factors. We need to see Monday and tuesday trend. My ideal hope is that market stabilize now. Not go up or go down but stay flat. That will say panic selling is over and we have atleast some faith in the future.

Here is all what I am saying . Be moderate in your opinion when stating things at the forum. When you are over optimistic people said you are misleading. Now you are so negative. So the same people will not believe you ( maybe your prediction will come true. There are only 3 things that can happen. Up , down or flat. )

So be careful in your fluctuating extreme opinions . Hope you understand what I am saying as this is for your own good. I have no grudge against you.

This may be a temporary up market, but there are many strong companies at attractive prices. Investing is kind of professional gambling, I am taking chances and buying, I am into some more companies which has fallen to pretty attractive valuations.

If there was no bad news anymore we should reach the bottom pretty soon, many technical indicators emerging.

This is just my personal opinion.
