Today i expect NTB's Big Dividend may be Rs 3.00
also result may be released.
Today's NTB collectors are make profit easily

I am not sure whether NTB will show a QoQ growth as its december quarter usually is less productive.
We should not expect eps as last quarter. Greedy also calculated this somewhere.

But with all possiblity it will show YoY growth mainly on the back on Tax benefits. Year Eps should be around 6.2-6.5 I guess. If it more it will great.

As last year they gave Rs 2 dividend. I would be very happy if they give anythign above Rs 2.25 though I would be happy with Rs 2 also.

The real power of NTB will take time to realize. ( few years). Their branch expansion and tapping in SME take times to realize profit due to overhead costs.

Dividends is too small to way to fly this... but no one know when this shows it colors...

Look I also hold NTB, so good news will benefit me also. Just saying we should be moderate with expectations. If it above great. Will be very happy. If below then we can control ourselves and not panic.

NTB's EPS for the year would be around 6.0, then Rs. 3.00 dividend means 50 % payout ratio. I really don't think the prudent NTB management will do that unless they desperately want to satisfy their major shareholders.

As mentioned above and as expected there is QoQ drop but YoY growth. Actually their quarter Eps of 1.6 and annual Eps of 6.73 is a bit more than I expected. Thanks to vat and tax benefits.

Their operating profit before taxes is almost flat but for a emerging bank with lot of expansion going on it is acceptable I think. Their branch expansion and tapping into SME sector will take some time to reap benefits. Overhead cost must be high also.

Overall I think NTB is on the right track with 2 giants ( JKH and CFIN) backing them. In the longer run NTB is heading off to be a big league bank ( apart from any unforeseen event). Maybe in 15-20 years we might look at NTB like now how we look at COMB.

Also I liked they gave a marginally growing dividend ( RS 2.1) but not too much ( unlike PABC). Iti s best to invest profits for shareholder wealth creation and expansion than giving short term candy.
