what will happens to our ODD lots which solely we got by new system? I never had odd lots before,but now i have 99shares,49shares,3shares from different stocks..errr,idiots..

how we sell these if they separate the ODD lots again?

If they separate them, then you have to sell them in the odd board

Even if they separate it'll take an age.First they should have a complain.Then they meet,then postponed the decision meet again.And after two or three months they may change it with some other errors.Typical Sri Lankan stile. Very Happy

Don't misguide. Multiple boards are definitely possible. It's just a decision hes to be taken from the CSE. Razz

I think reducing minimum share quantity to 100 again and allow any amount to trade more than 100 such as 101, 209,999, 1856 etc is better than splitting boards as normal and odd. If they separate it again, trading of odd shares will become weak as in the past!

perhaps the odd lots happen when the system matches buy sell orders, and not by people who actually buying or selling odd lots?? (not all, but maybe some) ..

Sorry, your question is not clear!

what i mean is that , when some body asks for odd lot (say 10 shares),
the system doesn't match with available odd lots, but matches with the 1st lot in que
(say the lot was 100,now only 90),
and when the next trade comes along (say 200 ) it takes the 90 and another 110 from others and so on....There just cant be this much odd lots, is there?
this is just a thought, i have no idea how ATS work! Smile
