Today my adviser told that some sort of change will happen to new system in March 20's,Anyone has any news????

I think its 26th. In an earlier paper article I saw CSE and MIT agreeing to rectify the errors and release a new version on 26th.

THIS IS SOME THING ELSE. CDAX DO HAVE DIFFERENT KIND OF ERRORS. IN THEIR ORDER BOOK THEY SHOW, “SELL” SIDE AS “BUY”, “BUY” SIDE AS “SELL”. THEY ARE NOT SHOWING WETHER OUR ORDERS GOT FILLED, WHEN WE PLACE WAITING ORDERS. ETC. DIRECT FN DOES HAVE TOTALLY DIFFERENT SET OF ERRORS. WE ARE EXPERINCING THIS MESSUP AFTER 2-3 MONTHS MOCK-RUNS. CAN YOU BELIVE IT?

new system doesn't show open and close status in CDAX, and no announcement post in CDAX. ... anyway we can say lot of errors are there... I think they can keep the old system ..is very good ...

new system was implemented soon but correction is not happen as implementation
it is normal behavior of country like sri lanka Very Happy

By the looks of it, it seems that this new system was rushed into production with little testing. The trading community became the lab rats.

This is similar to what happened to the London Stock Exchange (LSE) as well when they changed. As i remember there were 2 or 3 incidents where the LSE system was offline but no answers were given why it happened. Some of those articles are still available on news sites on the internet.

Considering the article in the Daily FT a few days ago where the CSE had pointed all responsibility to MIT, it is very worrying about the way forward for this new system. No one wants to take the responsibility for a potentially huge problem, at the expense of the honest traders.

I still haven't received any news. No reply received for my e-mail sent to the broker. BTW, we should not allow those fools to neglect their duties.

My adviser told friday also that something regarding the new system will happen tomorrow.Any Idea?? Rolling Eyes

You may be correct partially. CDAX admits that they have a storage/high speed data transfer/traffic issue but non provision of statistics, historical data etc are MIT issues(I do not think SEC/CSE wants to withhold this free facility) and consolidation of odd lots without thinking of enhanced fees for minor transactions is an issue that all SEC/CSE & MIT have to resolve.
