It'll most probably start green. According to one broker report today was driven by retail investors. (Who else?)
I was thinking whether I should keep the remaining cash for the fresh IPOs coming in the next few weeks and months.

Most of the shares will return to previous week (stable) levels, no body is prepared to sell with a loss. Financially strong shares would go further up.

Ya better hold onto it till market shows some early signs of recovers.. many counters are goin at absurd price levels, and most are in oversold territory.. Also a good time to collect.. since a week KGAL, AGAL, NAMU, LCEY are oversold, while it has the possibility of going a little bit down its a good collection altogether if you ask me Very Happy

JKH, COMB, SAMP, SLTL and Carsons group have started upward movement after a steep decline last few days. all the shares can return to previous levels. Plantations and banks also returning to normal. there was no evidence of selling today. lot of buying orders for liquid shares were seen. I think most of the investors would hold on to shares now onwards.

I remember I bought blue chip companies like JKH, DFCC, COMB, SPEN, HNB in last December thinking I won't be able to get them again at those prices. I was right. Very Happy

They are cheaper now. (I had to write the last sentence because some readers don't understand the subtle jokes.)
Those are good companies but I think with the introduction of much needed new shares they will remain at the same levels or go slightly down as the new stocks come in like Litro, Access...

As long as thier financials are good they can initiate a momentum soon. JKH, DFCC, COMB, SPEN, HNB could start movement at any time. Investors are focusing on fundementals again. Today COMB,SLTL,CARS ,SAMP and JKH initiated a steady upward momentum.

Yes , By looking at the CSE web site it is easy to get an idea about the market tomorrow. that is the new trend.

I have not read the SLTL annual report yet, but i read a new item that they are going to upgrade their network. Keep in mind what happened to DIAL when they did the same

DFCC seems to be going for prices sometime in August ( ie Rs 350 then Rs 175 now after Bonus). Even in DEC if I recall right it was in Rs 185-190. They showed a improved quater for December from Sept. Major blue chip with Institutional backing if you see the Top 20.

JKH and SPEN is trading lower than December. ( THough I agree these are trading at higher market PE due to their celebrity status)/

There are many counter which at bargain right now. Will it go further down that is question. At some point CSE has to go back to fundamental driven if it is to sustain. I recall after the August 10% band things started to return to fundamentals from the Crap situation before.

Lets hope the trend changes again from Illiquid overvalued craze to fundamentals. For this to happen am sorry to say people need to get burnt to realize slow and steady is better than major up with monumental downs. Until foriegners see fundamental market they will be hesitant too to enter in a big way. Usually foreign buys are mainly Blue Chips and fundamentals. When these shares are stagnant and other shares ( with no/less fundametals) play havoc at CSE no wonder there is hesitation to enter.

With current trend of more and more inexperienced newcomers entering marker unless these people are educated , new Traders are born with the idea of making it a Casino than Investors. ( I am not saying traders are bad, they are essential for markets but it semms there are more and more traders now who chase after crap).

I only Hope.....................................
