there is no unique technique..
but im keeping cut losses point..
there was only once i incur more than 300% loss due to my greed,it was a very huge value..there was no time to cut losses, bcz it was an unethical sell off rights by the major shareholders..
didnt had tym to watch..
other than that there is only losses around 10-20%

btw i regain all losses by GREG W,being a 85% profitable share .(got in at 3.5-4)

but now again in losses, but hope i can recover from upcoming bear market rally..
(You guys better analyse RENU,CLPLW,REEFW19,SOY,AAIC,SHAW,CINS,CFI for trading purposes,u can win if get in at depths)

Thanks Guys for your add ins.

What I mean by automation is; to have a pre-planned lost taking and profit taking levels. Especially lost taking (stop loss) levels.

There is no fixed level. it depends on your personal requirement.
My rule of thumb is (at the moment) 1:5 (Not in CSE but in some other market)

That means, for example, if my profit target is 30%, I sell if price indicate a 6% loss.

Got it?

If our trading systems support 'Stop loss' feature, this can be enabled at the time of buying.

Thanks hunter! DFN has this "Stop loss" feature?

Caution:

As I have observed, what we discussed is mostly applicable to high liquidity counters only; where the difference between bid - ask is low.

Pls make your own judgement before making any decision.

I guess me too did that mistake one or twice. It was a genuine mistake because the competitor thing did not come to my mind at that time. Recently, I searched those topics but I could not find them. My apologies for any inconvenient caused.

Its okay Greedy as you contributions are good.

We mainly want to discourage direct promotion attempts of other websites. If the article has academic value with the full content and then want to give a link for courtesy to another site it is okay. But most times it is very apparent that people are trying to do a promotion that we do not want.
