Which stock are seasonal?

So I'm quite new to the cse and I've made a few long term and medium term purchases so far.

However I'm interested in learning about seasonal stocks as well.

I know the most well known seasonal stock has to be ODEL, however could someone please recommend me a few more seasonal stock to take a look at?

A little explanation as to why it's seasonal would be greatly appreciated Smile

@shanoukdesilva: Why do you consider ODEL to be a seasonal stock? Is it because of the higher tourist traffic during December to March - and therefore the higher sales?
If so, you might like to look at other industries related to tourism, like resort hotels...
Or companies dealing in agricultural commodities that are harvested during a particular season...
Or any hydro-electricity generating companies, which depend on the monsoons...

(Personally, I don't think seasonal stocks are a great idea. But that's just my opinion.)

Mostly hotels are consider as seasonal due to season and off season of tourist arrival.
some other shares have up in their businesses in particular periods. so some consider these as seasonal. eg
BFL- Xmx, december
ODEL
But in this bear market no price movement can be observed even in seasonal period

Yes the reason I consider ODEL to be seasonal is due to the higher sales at certain times of the year.. I will look into ODEL and a few of the other tourist related stock.

Hydro-electric generating companies like Pan Asia Power? I like PAP because of the environmentally friendly business model, however it doesnt seem to have very much growth and therefore doesn't seem to be a very solid investment.

I think I'll watch ODEL, if it drops down again I'll buy a few shares, it seems to recover quite well in any case.

It sounds way too good to be true. I would never trust a stock that inconsistent :-/.

I think collecting seasonal stock will be not a good idea.. You can go for long term with sound stocks or short term can play with manipulating shares..
