Jun 29, 2012 (LBT) - Despite the strategic deals which took place during the week the bourse concluded the week on a downward trend. Retail investor participation was also low compared to the previous week showing signs of doubt among certain investor categories. The benchmark index gained 9.86 points to close at 4,965 whilst the more liquid MPI shed a marginal 2.6 points to close at 4,383. Total turnover for the day was over 218mn. Market heavyweight JKH’s contribution was minimal during the day as it only pumped in a mere 3.7mn towards the day’s tally. The counter closed the day Rs.182.80 shedding 1.57% for the day.

SEYB.X saw aggressive trading throughout the day and eventually ended as the 2nd largest contributor for the day.
