I thought you can cue orders to get triggered at a specific time.

Using my online system, I can add buy/sell orders anytime. Till 9am next day, they are in that system (queued) and get added to the CSE system after 9am next day. I think all the online systems allow that.
(as per my knowledge. may be I am wrong)

Normally I'm doing this before the market day for one day orders... It queue as a accepted oder but after 9.00 clock at the market day it will verify... Some times our orders will not at the accepted ratio (as an example more than the price band). Then it will reject before the market starts...
Day orders work for me but don't know exactly about GTC,GTD,FOK and IOC orders because usually these orders rejected for me... Smile

GTC orders are good when there is much sell or buy orders in order book......
ex-SEMB Warrants............because of its high liquidity, you can put GTC buy or sell orders for remain 5 days..........so you will get the priority when a trade happens.,(more than the people who put orders in trading time(day orders))
(first come, first serve) Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool Cool

you can put GTC orders when market is closed, but you can't cancel them.........

I think I put GTC orders (in our system it is maximum 5 days) after trading time. Today evening also I put some. Cool

Why do you say that 'you have to put GTC orders at trading time..'? Any reason for that or it doesn't allow you Question

ShareShares

I often queue buy orders overnight as I am busy during morning hours. It is easy with CDAX pro if there is sufficient buying power. On the other hand I never keep sell orders, as soon I place a sell order share prices come down further, and then I fail to sell them at required level. When ever there is a buyer for reasonable level I help them buy few shares at that level. Buy orders placed and timed well helps collect some good shares at correct value. I never place sell orders as the share value of that stock goes down I often have to suffer loses for the remaining shares in my portfolio. Buy orders placed at the correct value of the share helps them collect at a reasonable price.

Yes you are correct. Normally I place my orders after the market close. Unless I see a bargain I dont buy shares after 9am on a working day.
