There are promotions going on in social networks to purchase products only from companies owned by buddist and reject all halal products. If this promotion is sucessfull, BFL will effect immensely. How this will impact BFL in future?

Those promotions will not work in Sri Lanka. No one rejected to purchase items from Tamil shops even during bloody war. Nothing will be happened. Some would buy based on price and some with other psychological factors. But those promotions will not make a big difference.

Really doubt due to a fraction going against BFL can down their strong hold and their business which is a sort after food item.

I agree. Even in the war time, tamil enterprises didn't have any issues. Our people will go for best product rather than the owners race, religion or color.

I don't know why these propaganda came in suddenly. Some group of people are expecting short term benefit out of it.

How can you identify this? The salesman? owner? the one who cuts the chicken? who breeds?
This is hilarious.

We don't really look at these factors when buying do we? Sometimes we look for the brand, sometimes our familiar supermarket or meatshop.

If you observe what happens is that the so called minority always patronize the shops, goods sold by their own so called minorities.
The so called majority does not care where they buy from. That's how it should be. So there's never or in the future never will be any issue for any business, BFL or anything because the so called majority never worry about the race or religion when doing business.
But the so called minorities check the race and religion before doing business. Unfortunately that's what's happening.

Despite race or religion, All companies provide jobs for Sri Lankans. All pay tax to government, some carry out CSR projects as well. So it is a primitive idea of taking race and religion in to everything

BFL is the favourite of Singa Laxana. Other poultry stocks also have performed similar or better in share price, in past.
