CINV transfers Expo Lanka to WAPO at Rs6/= share

CINV has transferred 41.6 million Expo Lanka Holdings shares to WAPO for Rs250 million - Rs6/= share. Presume this Rs 6/= is price at which CINV got shares in recent private placement of Expo - or was it even lower?

Let us see at what price the IPO of Expo Lanka is.

thats may be why there was some interest on CINV and GUAR in later..........

investment trust companies performance mainly fluctuate relate to market performance,so if market rising their NAV also increasing............
if ASI and MPI rising, their upcoming financials also will be in good status and may attractive at current prices............ Cool

I dont think WAPO will sell at early stage... EXPO is the one of the strategic investment to WAPO, so they might hold at least one year...

WAPO holds about 34 million shares of EXPO and their cost of a share around Rs 6.00.
WAPO is now sitting on a healthy profit.. It's right time to have a look at WAPO.

Yes if they are going to accept the mandatory offer gain is 4.70 per EXPO share..

I think nearly 50% of WAPO portfolio is EXPO

Wapo seems to get rich by EXPO deal... but it seems if the deal did not take place WAPO had poor decision making regarding investment.. WAPO was lucky or they knew the agenda from the begining
