Attitude “Success begins with an attitude” is the first lesson in the Laws of Success . Your attitude determines your altitude. Empty your mind of all the negative thinking. Fill your empty mind with only positive thinking. Attitude is everything.

Belief Belief teaches you to first “Believe in yourself”. Believe in self-esteem, it is the starting point of all peak performance. Believe in self-responsibility, it is the next step toward peak performance. Believe in self-help, it is the crucial step toward peak performance. Each reinforces the other. Never doubt your beliefs, never believe your doubts.

Committment Commitment teaches you to “Commit to make things happen”. Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality. It is the words that speak boldly of your intention. And the action which speaks louder than the words. It is making the time when there is none. Coming through time after time, after time, year after year. Commit to make it happen!

Difficulty You will ignore the difficulties at your feet and keep your mind on the goals above your head for you know that where dry desert ends, green grass grows. You will acknowledge rewards for they are your dues; yet you will welcome difficulties for they are your challenge.

Enthusiasm Some are enthusiastic sometime, some are enthusiastic most of the time, and some are enthusiastic all the time. It is those who are enthusiastic all the time who succeeds in life. The worst bankrupt in the world is the one who has lost his enthusiasm.

Joy The joy of life is freedom: (1) freedom of choice - free to choose what you want, (2) freedom of time - free to go when you wish, and (3) freedom of money - free to buy what you like.

Knowledge Fundamental knowledge is no more than one quarter of your qualifications, the other three fourths is your ability to handle people. If you have developed the ability to handle people, you don’t need anything else. If you have not that ability, it doesn’t matter much what else you have.

Luck In this Law of Success, “LUCK” teaches you a new meaning. L-U-C-K means Labor Under Correct Knowledge. Unorganized knowledge is unsystematic, undeveloped material, and is not power. Organized knowledge is systematic, developed material and is power. Creative power creates wealth.

Mistakes Every mistake is a blessing in disguise, providing it teaches some needed lesson one could not have learned without it. No one has a chance to enjoy permanent success until he begins to look in a mirror for the real cause of all his mistakes.

Networking Networking teaches you to network with people better than you, people in high places, people with the power of position, power of decision, power of influence, and power of connection. Knowing the right people can be of great value provided you have something beneficial to offer. Join high profile associations and clubs to augment your list of contacts.

Optimism Optimism teaches you to look at the bright side of everything and to think only of the best, to work only for the best and to get only the best. Promise yourself to be so optimistic that nothing can disturb your peace of mind, and make your optimism a part of your personality.

Plan A plan consists of short-term objectives and long-term goals. Put your plan in writing. Plan leads to success. To guarantee success, you must have a Plan of Action, follow up enthusiastically and follow through passionately the Plan of Action. You must have the will to act persistently and to make your “plan makes money” for you.

Question Question teaches you to learn and to acquire knowledge. Ask questions. Never be afraid to ask dumb questions. It is better to ask dumb questions than to make dumb mistakes. It is not a shame to ask questions, it is a shame not to know.

Resource Resource teaches you the three resources to achieve success: firstly, find a godfather who will adopt you; failing which, secondly, find a mentor who will counsel you; failing which, thirdly, find a mirror which will teach you teach yourself.

Saving Saving teaches you how to distribute systematically your income so that a definite percentage of it will accumulate steadily and form one of the greatest sources of personal power. No one may succeed in life without saving money. There is no exception to this rule.

Thinking Thinking accurately teaches you how to separate fiction from facts. No one may become an accurate thinker until he learns how to separate mere fiction and information from facts. Accurate thinking is one of the important foundation stones of all enduring success.

Upgrading Upgrading teaches you self-improvement. Upgrade yourself. Constantly study, learn and experience more about yourself, others, life, and so on. You never stop studying, learning and experiencing more because you know the universal law of success in growing up, not growing old.

Value Put your day-to-day attention on adding value to everything and everyone you touch along the way. Remember that part of your life’s purpose is to touch people’s lives and to make a positive difference in other people’s lives. ‘Xcuse You will not give excuse that you CAN’T do this or that. Knock the “T” off the CAN’T and leave the word “CAN” standing positive to achieve success. You will not give excuse that doing this or that is impossible. Split the word impossible into three words I-M-POSSIBLE and image the “POSSIBLE” to attract success to you projects. Only tell yourself “I CAN” and “I-AM-POSSIBLE”.

Yourself You too can choose to be a winner or a loser. A winner starts with a winning psychology and the right way to do things, and wins. A loser begins with a losing psychology and the wrong way to do things, and loses. You too can make the difference in your life.

Zest Do things with zest, the enjoyment of doing them. Find out what the public needs. Fill in the need with passion. Add spice and flavor in the pursuit of the need. The fulfillment of the need will “make money” for you and will achieve the glory of success you want in life.

The A to Z Laws of Success will mean nothing to you if taken singly. But take them collectively and they form a very important foundation for the next turning point in your life to see light at the end of the rainbow.
