How u arrived 142Mn?
CSEC holds only 34Mn.
Other 37Mn is in Seylan Slash A/C & Divided they get on this will directly set off against margin Dr. balance right?
Otherwise bank should have given the consent by margin trading agreement to take the Dividend out.

Credit should goto 'Chinwi' and 'The Alchemist' for identifying this early. But I do not agree with allocating part of funds to CSEC that can be used for buying more CFVF.

As far as I know, all the dividends directly come to the shareholder . Margin is managed separately.
The dividend is not a right of a loan provider. May be they have different systems.
Normally it is wiser to have dividend paying shares in the margin account because you can pay part of the interest using the dividend.

Market is very weak at present so if dividend was Rs.5, I don't think it will impact lot. Lot of investors being sideline and watching what s happening...
