i remember there was a website (chinese) run in english to predict the gold price movement. i came across whilst trading gold thru seylan gold. i use to follow this method (i cant remember the name now) to see /track the peaks of gold prices.
i thought it was difficult but the website had a paid subscription where they gave buy sell signals.....

but never went through only observed the free charts they put up on their website.

This method is used to bring good luck or something that sort am i right.

Feng Shui believers say that an year ending in a December (not any month) with 5 Mondays, 5 Saturdays and 5 Sundays is a money bag year.

There are proponents and opponents of any theory or ideology. Therefore it is not a surprise to find people who are opposed to TA. What Rajapakse has expressed is the viewpoint of the technical analysts. The BUY and HOLD investors and Fundamental Analysts are entitled to their own opinion. Investors will decide what is right and what is wrong.

Before Rajapakse introduced tech analysis to the local stock market in the early 1990's forex traders in our banks were using these methods without making it public. Any forex dealer will tell you that forex cannot be traded using any other technique. This is true for futures and options as well. Sri Lankan market is just a crude buy and sell market where fundamentalist traders traders have survived.

Many hear what they want to hear and are deaf and blind to what they do not want to hear, see or believe. They are quoting Rajapakse out of context. Essentials of what he would have said is that to buy only on the appearance of BUY signals on daily, weekly and monthly charts and sell on the appearance of a SELL signal on the daily chart.

You are correct, that is what he wanted to point out.
There were no any Pre school investors. He should have given the full picture of the mkt like What Mr. Dilru did.

That is the point we all highlight here.

There are good tech. traders i personally know. They are well balanced with all the fundamentals as well........Not blind followers........

I didn't go to meet him coz I don't like ppl who cheat their clients Evil or Very Mad

- I found very tiny portion of the people who have genuine heard and thinking they put their own money when they give investment advise. Considerable portion of advisers are not reading IS and having no idea about NAVP of the company that they recommend.

I thk I am enough educated to understand this world, but many investors who had no idea about shares as they r in business community or govt sector. The only way to get advisers educated is, first we need to study well then criticize advisers upon giving wrong advises- simply say go and read IS before you advise would be suffice. I criticized many and still keep on doing as I am not adviser dependent...

Well in my own experience, Mr. Raja's TA predictions which u can download from their website, doesn't work even in a BUY BUY BUY situation Wink

. I'm not trying to say he's wrong or right.. But very rarely a signal like that comes in his charts. ok?

But there are occasions where you can buy on support levels of a price or near the predictable bottom of a bollinger band (its difficult though) and trade.. I dont know whether its easy for others..
