Momentum will pick up this week and 6000 will be broken before May.Whose saying NO?

About time it reached 6000 i think ! 2 years ago, as per above article, it should be heading towards 12000 !
coincidentally, the ASPI & Gold have doubled in the last six years. The ASPI in Feb 2007 hit 3000 and gold traded at average of usd 700 / ounce. six years later in 2013, Gold is tumbling to usd 1400 and the ASPI is closing on 6000.
Rule of thumb, most investments double in 6 years holding time ? (both gold and aspi more than doubled in less than 6 years). Even a fixed deposit at 12-15 % compound interest will double in 5-6 years. and how about land & property prices ?

Very low demand for land even for building house or medium scale business purpose. No demand even for a small plot located in the heart of Nugegoda.

Recently looked at condos/apt selling price in COlombo for study. Very expensive and inflated.

talk about demand for land, how about vehicles? very hard to sell even a car. One of the major factors for this could be the high interest rates

Sorry for the irrelevance of the subject.

16 perches bare land ( first two blocks 8 perches each from main gate) surrounded by the wall ( altogether 24 perches block, corner block of 8 perches belongs to another with 8 feet road along the wall inside) is for sale just behind Smudra Devi Balika or 75 meters from Rotary college, Nugegoda,at Rs.12.5 lakhs per perch. 6k is our dream. I guess weather it hit or not 6k recently, foreigners will keep on collecting as they used to do... when time comes and big players enters, CSE should head towards 7k levels with few rallies. all we need is positive momentum. cheers

Possibilities are high for the market to hit 6000 before May 2013 or during May.
Current trend started around latter part of March 2013. All indications are for a bull run but not a sudden spike. Unless something changes this trend.

Then again this momentum will not last long since the market need to release some pressure that it has built up during the past few months.

Well this is my prediction......
