Buying at these price irrelevent, if you can find the quantity you need.
Just cross check last couple of months quantity traded on these.

Why not Brwn?? Go and chk their history during bull run. its asset value about 195, now trading at very discounted price.. Director somasundaram is not a fool guy to buy BRWNs at Rs 320 during last rally. Recetly also he bought large qty.. They r about to get rid of their investment on listed bank which could generate nearly 35-40 rupees per share. It trades at 122 level.

Abans u can buy at 93 as 1 seller put 11000 shares last week.

Alli- gradually need to collect, it fluctates in this region.

RHL- it may come about 35 as it trades 36 now days..

CITW- risky at this price as its price appreuicated becz of CLND . So have to wait to cum back as it hit 5.1 by last April.

Browns is now at loss. 9 months EPS was negative (-) 7.45 as per dec 2012 report.

ABANS- 9 months EPS 24.79. but trading @90 levels. I don't understand why it is not moving, may be main share holders in selling mode
as per dealings by directors.

I will fully diversify Rs.5 million in to following assets.
1) 1 million 3 months FD
2) 1 million 6 months FD
3) Invest 1 million in gold
4) 2 million in shares - out of which 1 million will be on sound fundamentals, 500,000/= will be medium sized companies and balance 500,000 will be for trading.
Reason for 3 months FD is to monitor the market and if a real bull market starts then I will transfer 1 million or less from 3 month FD to shares.

I will not invest all the money straight into equity. It's very high risk and any thing can happen in our marker. 5 million can become 1 million within weeks or months in our market. Therefore, play safely.

This is only my point of view and not an advice.

Agree with you..but its all depend on your risk appetite..

My opinion is to not to look at any junk stocks.Just focus on some long term investment. You can diversify your portfolio based on sectors in CSE

Financial - COMB and HNB, CFIN,PLC ( I m not that happy with SAMP)
Diversified - HHL ( yes for sure ) ,SPEN ( may be small exposure) ,
Manufacturing - LLUB, TKYO X ,ACL
Plantations - NAMU
Hotel - SERV, AHPL

If you are going with multiples , just check forecasted EPS and Sector PE..So you can do you own analysis..

Bonds - 0.8 million
REEF.W19 - 0.7 million
CITW, CITK - 0.5 million
CFVF, MASK, PLC, hydro - 1.5 million
Savings - 0.5 Million (to buy GOLD when prices come down)
