Reason
Its trading close to NAV - assets are land & building, stocks & financials assets
It had done lots of restructuring , reducing burden of debt and aligning its interest
Easing interest rates should support
Hospital business is going well
Financial services have had a bad patch, should be better in the future if not shouldn't be bad
Electronic & MV business - position neatral
Only worry about hotels
Warning: I am long (small quantity) ,plan to take major exposure of my portfolio. 5-10%

Every good analyst knows that intangible assets should be excluded when looking at NAV. You may want to recompute and reassess things.
The SHL has consolidated goodwill on top of existing goodwill. Was there any goodwill in AAIC before SHL took over?
However I'm still puzzled by the intangible assets are high when equity is not as high. It can't just be minority interest (that is the NDB stake)

So it was a good time to enter for the chairmen. SHL a stock that is going to benefit most from the rate cut. In one hand it will reduce their interest burden, on the other hand it will boost the balance sheets of it's financial business as well as retail business driven by increased rate of hire purchases.@trader911 wrote:http://www.cse.lk/cmt/upload_cse_announcements/5701368176601_.pdf
