CABO this time possible to announce more than 50.00 Rupees dividend because they have huge profits from stocks trading.

To pay a div. u should have cash not unrealized profits in stocks.

Any way CABO is a long awaited share. I can remember people talked about the value of this share when mkt was at peak. I have never have a look.

They have portfolio of investments marketed to market @ loss
I don't know whether they have cashed them during the last month's uptrend
If so, cash must be on the way
But, i doubt this... really really doubt about large dividend

The managment is not know for generosity. Okay i will leave an open mind,.

But Gainer, when you post like this it is clear you are trying to promote.

Remember there was so much discussion of CABO already.
It ran from Rs 70 -130 due LLUB effect, portfolio effect and mainly as it was severly over sold. If you bought at Rs 120 + might have a wait a bit more. Yes it can run more along with it partner RENU.

Imagine the surprise when the forum split expert Gainer talks about dividends instead of splits, this will cause a massive shift in market sentiment. Even CNN may talk about this.

If you are interested in this counter, I think you should first thank Antonym who mentioned this right throughout .

I was with RENU instead of CABO when Antonym talked about it. Both have run over 50% from bottom.

I know Anto bought higher, but he mentioned below Rs 100.

After CABO stared the run, some people in the forum got in after Rs 120 and try to promote. When the share is mentioned so many times, it is not necessary to talk about dividend like Rs 50 . It will move thought anyone help.

Also we should give credit to the due party right ( An tonym) ?

Incase someone wants to know,

RENU holding of DFCC itself is now worth more than Rs 90 profit per share. ( they might not sell though as it bring dividends every year. LLUB/DFCC does the same for CABO )

CABO is a good share. But 50/- is out of question.
They will pay only 2/-. If somebody buying it for dividends, then dont buy it, buy LHL. You will get same amount just for Rs 50.

CABO management is stingy, so dividend or other benefits will not trickle down to share holders. instead NAV will accumulate in the books.

Be careful. 50 dividend is totally out of reach.

Hmmmm... CABO can sell their portfolio now and start building a Hotel.. Then they can also announce a hefty dividend (As Gainer mentioned 50)..

With these great news, what happens is CABO runs to 300+.. So Gainer being the voice for the company, comes here and announce that CABO is aiming at a 5:1 split.. This will take CABO to 350..

Gainer comes again and tells us CABO is worth 400 given the Hotel operation starts in end 2013.. So our guys hurry up to grab few shares.. After all its so worth know? Why miss????

CABO hits 380.. Gainer sells.. End of Story..

Once upon a time a man appeared in a village and announced to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for $10 each. The villagers, seeing that there were many monkeys around, went out to the forest, and started catching them.

The man bought thousands at $10 and as supply started to diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He further announced that he would now buy at $20. This renewed the efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys again.

Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back to their farms. The offer increased to $25 each and the supply of monkeys became so little that it was an effort to even see a monkey, let alone catch it!

The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $50! However, since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would now buy on behalf of him. In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers. “Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected. I will sell them to you at $35 and when the man returns from the city, you can sell them to him for $50 each.”

The villagers rounded up with all their savings and bought all the monkeys. Then they never saw the man nor his assistant, only monkeys everywhere!
