Despite being one of the least tolerant countries when it comes to websites contained explicit content, Sri Lanka has retained the first place for the third consecutive year.
The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission had recently revealed that measures have been taken to prohibit over 1500 websites over the past three years. Sri Lanka first topped the list in 2011 for the highest volume of searches on the word ‘sex’.
