Warrant price will move upwards, no reason to come down while the share price is going up.

I want to wait for a really nasty dip within the next six months to try and collect warrant 23 under 70. Do you think that its wishful thinking ?

My idea is to hold warrant 23 till 2017. My kids will be looking for colleges at that time. (hopefully if the lazy buggers get through the O and A levels.)

Better buy in bulk if you are planning to spend for education abroad.

No No. I am also with my loaded sniper guns. Can wait months or years.
If not under 70, no fire.

No most of us are sleeping.

Please check Top 20 Shareholders List of Top 25 Market Capitalization companies in Sri Lanka.

You'll find how many foreign Institutions and Individuals in the list.

The problem in this forum or most of the retail participants at CSE do not read the Annual reports, just blindly comments. In simple Gossipers.

Almost all in top 20 are foreigners. But proud to state the S.E Captain is the largest share holder and few other locals / Institutes too in the list.

They first look for companies with lesser private/individual holding and more liquidity.

Think DP had to do some work , if he wants to attract foreign investors to his shares.

BTw, LOLC already has large foreign holding. RICH too , but I believe it is through Dr Y

Foreigners prefer Pathirage over DP. You can see SHL has more foreign participation than VONE although VONE is in a fundamentally better position.

DP doesn't need others to run his empire. He has built the empire alone and will run it alone in future also. That is his nature.

To attract foreign capital you need independent boards. The board has to be independent of management and cannot be in cahoots with the management.

Secondly right across SE Asia there are massive firms with much stronger fundamentals

For SL firms to be stronger we have to have larger underwritten rights issues (for example SLIC/EPF backed firms can force this)

In the end you have to give up control  Wink

Depends on who wants foreigners to invest. SHL did promotions abroad also. VONE is still like a private holding mostly.
