*Look at the top 10 gainers & losers list today.
*All are donkey's in this CSE.....
*Many though that vaccine will arrive Sri lanka tomorrow...
*Meantime they think from next Friday onward foreigners also will flock to our hotels.
*These coconuts sold tile company shares & other top company shares which have no relationship at all with COVID19 & bought hotel shares....
*They will have to keep all these shares with them for minimum of 3 - 5 years with them to sell with a profit or else they will have to find out similar kind of a donkey to off load quantities.
*I will retire from CSE if any of hotel shares advance by a 10cents tomorrow. All will come down from tomorrow onward for sure.
*Govt will not decide to allow imports to come in to the country as it was in the past.... Look at how tile companies are booming with profits now. Why should we import tiles in future. Govt should now allow more companies to come in to the industry. This is same to other production companies as well.
*Yes COVID has given a massive support to EXPO to improve their profitability by enhancing their client base together with superior & efficient service. All these new clients will not say buy to EXPO even after post COVID scenario, since the superior /efficient/ & modern technology used by the company.
*If we are talking or thinking about post COVID scenario then we should think about more volumes & new business avenues that the EXPO is getting as a result of the strong service offered to their new/existing clients during this challenging periods. If the service or the efficiency is not met I don't think even during period EXPO receive these amounts of business. Now the EXPO has become a world leader in the logistic business & will continue to be among the top competitors in the world since EXPO now has all the experience of handling top clients in the world.
*Don't expect EXPO to be a good old company once again. This will be a top listed company for many more years in future.
*Construction industry/Motor vehicle industry will have no relationship with the COVID. So sellers will have to suffer a lot here if anybody sold these top stocks at a loss.
*Plantations/ DIPD/HAYC/HAYL have continue to perform well in future.
*This is similar to selling of ELPL/NAMU when the mkt received the news of oil palm ban by the Govt. After that announcement NAMU went up to over Rs175 levels from Rs100/ levels & ELPL went up over Rs40s from Rs22/ levels.
*All other top quality shares have nothing to do with COVID. These companies will find ways & means to continue their business if by any chance anything happens. Like UML did to restructure their business model. Just look that UML went up against the herd behavior today showing us the true future potential of the share.
*We boasted about ASI reaching 6000 - 7000 - 10000 - 12000 levels. Do you all want COVID to do that??
*Do we want mkt to go back to Yahapalanaya period & stay below ASI 6000 levels??
*How come ASI reach when RCL is trading Rs120 levels?? & DIPD trading below Rs200 levels?? Don't think that & it will never happen.
*I was positive about banking industry after successful control of COVID 1st wave. But the continuation of COVID is a definite thread to the industry going forward. As per the CBSL directions all banks & financing companies are extending prepayments due of billions of loans. But one day these companies/ people will have to repay their loans & if fails will transfer those loans to NPA section in billions. So there is a risk of the financial industry until we see a proper recovery happens.
*Hotel sector will take more than 3 -4 years at least to come in to small profitability even. These companies are not like plantations coz, there overheads are very high.
*Look at how many top class stocks that have come down today..... Why is that?? This downfall is not because of COVID?? Did you get it?? Friends this downfall is just for the news that a vaccine for corona has just passed it's third trail.... Can you all believe that??
*People have sold DIST as well at a lower price. Why the hell you want to sell DIST in a COVID free environment???
*Our investors want to earn money with other dead bodies..... It's shame to see the oerformance of today's market. This is the worst day in my CSE history......
*Just look at how many hotel shares in the top gainers list?? or hotel related shares.... Is this a correct approach by the investors.
*If anybody want to buy a hotel or hotel related company share expecting a recovery in tourism due to this vaccine mad mania then why those people sold poultry companies??? This time these buyers will learn a lesson of their life time for sure....
*Now still there's no any vaccine to cure COVID. One or two companies gave the news that they were just successful in passing the third trail. That doesn't mean that this vaccine is going to come out...
*Even this vaccine has come out it has limitations. The antibodies generate from this vaccine will be in active only 6months to 1year period in human body. In that case if we want to eradicate COIVD from the world we have to vaccinate all the people in the globe in one time or within a very short time span. Ha.. Ha... Are we going to do that... I saw one news article that we need more than 8000 jumbo jets to deliver vaccine all over the world once it is completed... I believe EXPO will get its major share as well.....?? Who knows??
https://www.bbc.com/news/business-54067499
*All the best & without any tech knowledge I'm expecting a super green day tomorrow with all of these top class stocks that were sold down today....
